Loading... Please wait...The Ray-Ban Outdoorsman has been around over 50 years, still as popular today as it was when introduced. The two things that make it popular is the plastic brow bar and the cable temples. It was never designed to be a "fashion" item, the brow bar was put on it to keep the top of the frame from being pulled up against your face by the cable temples. Old frame designers knew that if you put cable temples on a frame without a brow bar that the lenses and top of frame both rest against your eyebrows, causing your prespiration and body oils to get on the lenses.
This is the "regular" 58mm size, it is 139mm wide with 160mm cable temples (extra cost optional "skull" temple exchange is available for an extra $19.90, see pull-down selection which has price built into this choice). Fits medium faces best. Comes with "stock" G-15 GreyGreen glass lenses, carrying case and cleaning cloth.

Have been wearing Ray Ban Aviators for over 30 years, both cable temple and skull temple. I have not had a failure due to workmanship or quality.Lens quality is superior, frames hold up well. Lost track of Hildalgo Supply during that time frame, but am ordering a lost pair from them, cannot wait to get the new pair in. Folks, you get what you pay for, if you buy cheap, you will get cheap, these are worth the money you would spend on replacing and buying "knock off" types. Thanks Hildalgo Supply.
