Using lens cleaner helps make your lenses last longer.

For glass or plastic lenses and Anti-reflection coated lenses. Makes cleaning lenses easier, especially anti-reflection coated lenses, reduces streaking. Has Anti-static properties to reduce dust particle attraction to the lenses. Comes in pump spray bottles (except the 8 oz. concentrate).

TIP: Don't clean your lenses with harsh chemicals like glass cleaners that contain ammonia, or cleaners designed to shed water on winshields which will etch your lenses causing permanent damage. If you don't use a lens cleaner, clean you lenses under running water with a little dishwashing soap, then pat dry with a soft cotton cloth or one of our Lens Cleaning cloths. When drying lenses if you use abrasive cloths like tissue or paper towels, don't "polish" the lens with them, just use a minimum amount of contact to just dry the lens. Polishing the lenses with anything increases the chances of scratching.
