The blades are being manufactured in Seki, Japan, while the shaping of the Makassa wood scales, assembly of the handles, and the final buffing, sharpening and inspection are all being done by Boker in Solingen, Germany. All by hand. The legendary Japanese art of forging Damascus swords lives on in these blades. The VG10 in the center of the blade offers extremely high cutting performance, with a 60 HRC.
