This Tan colored copy of the original Ray-Ban leatherette carrying case is the most popular carrying case of all time, it used to say "this is a pair of Ray-Ban's inside". People liked the simple design, no frills, just a good carrying case. It is the same color as the original, as you can see. It has a tough nylon rib inside to stiffen the case and protect the glasses. It is felt lined to protect the frames finish. A snap keeps the case closed. There is a slit on the back of the case if you want to slip in on a belt. The nylon rib is designed to allow glasses with cable temples to fit. Inside measurement is 6 1/8" (158mm) wide, 7/8" (20mm) thick, and 2 1/4" (57mm) deep. Fits metal frames up to 155mm (6 1/8") wide. Fits all Randolph Engineering metal frames except those with Bayonet temples, and all Ray-Bans such as the Aviators, Outdoorsman, Large Outdoorsman, Shooter and Caravan. If you have doubts about your frame fitting, the thickness of the frame will be the limiting factor, you can't get frames that are over 7/8" (20mm) thick to fit.
